Do you often feel overwhelmed by your work? Managing time is impossible, because whatever we do, time never stands still. But managing the way we deal with unforeseen circumstances, interruptions or urgent matters is something we can work on.

Time management is easy once we accept that time cannot be managed... and that we are in control of the way we spend our time! Our behaviour, our habits, and our conditioning influence the way we spend our time. Why? What lies behind this? Discover how you can eliminate certain time-consumers.

In this interactive workshop, you will receive tips and strategies in self-management. It is focused both on planning and organising your own activities and on managing your colleagues and customers, helping you to effectively achieve your planning.

This training is not about learning how to use Outlook, MS Project or Microsoft 365. In short, this is a workshop on planning and organising yourself and your surroundings.

Méthode d'apprentissage: Formation en présentiel

Cette formation a lieu en classe avec d’autres participant·es sur place. Votre parcours comprend trois étapes complémentaires.

  • Étape 1 : en ligne

Votre formation commence sur Karibu, notre plateforme d’apprentissage en ligne. Vous effectuez cette étape à votre rythme, où et quand vous le souhaitez.

Attention : il est indispensable d’achever cette étape avant de poursuivre votre formation.

  • Étape 2 : en classe (1 journée)

Cette étape consiste en une journée entière sur le lieu de formation en compagnie des autres participant·es. Ensemble, vous apprenez les un·es des autres, sur la base des connaissances acquises lors de l’étape 1. Le groupe se compose généralement de 6 à 12 participant·es.

  • Étape 3 : en ligne

Cet apprentissage se déroule également sur Karibu, à votre rythme, où et quand vous le souhaitez.

Aperçu du programme

  • Before

After the final confirmation of your registration, you will get access to Karibu (the online Cevora learning platform) one month before the start of the training. You will be able to get to know the trainer, post your expectations and accept two assignments: one on how to complete your logbook and one on your personal drivers in relation to your time management. With the results of these exercises we will set to work during the training.

 

  • The face-to-face training

Time for action! Your trainer will coach you through the basics of time management and help you with your self-management. Taking on board the feedback from your fellow participants, we will look for strategies and tips that will inspire you towards healthy time management, commitment and the satisfaction of ticking off your tasks.

This workshop uses a different methodology than the online training. It allow you to ask more questions about your results, and it provides a Q&A moment. During this face-to-face group training, we will discuss your results of the two exercises in the preliminary stage in subgroups. We will share personal insights and experiences with the group, and discuss them in the light of the specific work context. The end result is a personal action plan. More attention is paid to individual needs and to sharing and finding solutions for specific practical issues.

 

  • Follow-up activities, transfer

Karibu remains the place to be, even after the training. You will find additional information in the form of sheets and a TED talk on procrastination. You can also share your experiences and questions with fellow participants for one month after the training.
