In this training, the starting point is that you think you have found a good solution that will really help your customers. You have already started with small tests in the market that turned out positive. But how do you make the step from these small experiments to actual launch in the market?

  • You know what Design thinking and the Lean Startup Methodology are about
  • You know the difference between low fidelity and high fidelity prototyping
  • You can describe a business model using the Business Model Canvas or Lean Canvas
  • You can develop a value proposition
  • You can recognise assumptions in a business model and/or value proposition and can determine your next step on the basis of prioritisation
  • You can translate the findings from experiments into adjustments to your new product/service


You have a role in introducing new products, services and/or concepts in your company. This can be both externally and internally focused. You have the feeling that this process can be improved and that you can become more successful in this. You want to get the right handles on this.

Leermethode: Online-klas

Deze online-opleiding volg je op je computer. Je traject bestaat uit drie stappen, die elkaar aanvullen.

  • Stap 1

Je opleiding start op Karibu, ons online-leerplatform. Dit leermoment doorloop je op je eigen tempo, waar en wanneer je wilt.

Let op: deze stap afwerken is een vereiste om verder te gaan.

  • Stap 2: online-klas

Tijdens deze stap ontmoet je je medecursisten – gewoonlijk zes tot twaalf personen – via Zoom. Iedereen kan elkaar zien en horen. Dat maakt gesprekken, interactie en samenwerking mogelijk. Zo leer je van en met elkaar, op basis van de inzichten uit stap 1.

  • Stap 3

Dit leermoment vindt opnieuw plaats op Karibu. Ook deze stap doorloop je op je eigen tempo, waar en wanneer je wilt.

Vereiste voorkennis

It is useful if, prior to this course, you have at least followed the training course 'How do I learn to experiment?


  • The training is divided into 3 blocks Online modules Karibu: Preparation (approx. 2 hrs)
    • Introduction to Design thinking and Lean Startup
    • Value proposition design and testing assumptions
    • Introduction to our case company
    • Preparation assignment: filling in a value proposition plus mapping out the most important assumptions


  • Online session (3 hrs)
    • This session is very interactive. We give a limited theoretical explanation and then you get to work with your fellow participants! Design thinking is mainly a question of doing. We work on the basis of our example case.

  • Assignment after online session
    • You get the opportunity to work out a business model for a new product/service/concept within your organisation. Together with the trainer and fellow participants, you can evaluate and adjust your path during a reflection call of about an hour. Ideal for taking the first steps towards applying what you have learned in a practical situation!

If you want to follow all courses, we recommend you to follow this order. However, it is also perfectly possible to follow the courses separately or in a different order, depending on availability. However, we do recommend that you always start with the first course, which introduces the entire Design thinking process.
