Who still remembers filing paper documents in metal filing cabinets? We’ve long since moved on from that. These days, most information is stored in databases. 

In this course, we’ll explore the evolution from metal filing cabinets to hierarchical and network databases, relational databases and SQL, right up to today’s NoSQL storage. 

Even if, at the start of this course, ‘database’ is ‘just one of those tech terms’ to you, we are confident that you will leave the course with a deep understanding of how databases work and contribute to an organisation’s performance.
