After this training course:

• you identify advanced relational dynamics within the Insights Discovery model (complementarity, tensions, oppositions);
• you understand how colour preferences influence decision-making, collaboration and conflict management;
• you analyse professional interactions (meetings, feedback, disagreements, collaboration) using the Insights Discovery framework;
• you consciously adapt your communication style in complex situations (stress, tension, misunderstandings, written and verbal communication) to maintain constructive professional relationships.

This training course is intended for professionals who:

• have already completed a basic Insights Discovery model training course and wishes to use it to better manage interpersonal dynamics at work;;
• want to deepen their communication, collaboration and relational impact skills;
• want to manage meetings, presentations, tensions and conflicts more effectively;
• want to switch more easily between different communication styles.

You have already completed this training course: Strengthen Your Communication Skills with the Insights Discovery Model, or you already have a solid understanding of the Insights Discovery model.

This training course takes place in a classroom setting together with other participants. Your learning journey consists of three complementary steps.

Step 1: online

Your training starts on Karibu, the online learning platform. You complete this step at your own pace, whenever and wherever you want.

Please note: you must complete this step before continuing with the rest of the training.

Step 2: classroom session

During this step, you attend a full-day training session together with other participants. You learn from one another based on the knowledge acquired during step 1. Groups generally consist of 6 to 12 participants.

Step 3: online

This learning step also takes place on Karibu, at your own pace and whenever it suits you.

Step 1: online preparation (approx. 30 min)

• Refresh of the Insights Discovery model;
• Self-assessment: my automatic Insights reflex under pressure;
• Preparation of a personal professional situation as a common thread (for example: conflict, difficult meeting, presentation or collaboration);
• Observation assignment.

Step 2: classroom session (8h)

• Understanding and anticipating reactions according to colour preferences: typical tensions and misunderstandings in collaboration;
• Discovering the 8 Insights Discovery types;
• Conflict mechanisms and escalation patterns by colour;
• Analysis of real-life participant situations;
• Adapting your communication style in professional situations (meetings, presentations, feedback and conflict situations);
• Role plays: spontaneous reaction versus conscious adaptation through Insights Discovery;
• Creating a personal relational action plan.

Step 3: online reflection (approx. 30 min)

• Downloadable learning materials;
• Comprehension and application questions;
• Additional resources;
• Applying the relational action plan in a real interaction;
• Long-term action plan.
